Support Black Students

Our
Mission

Over the past couple of school years, Black Students across Kansas and Missouri have been subjected to racism. In Olathe, a Black student was expelled for standing up for himself against racism. In that same district, when a Black student was experiencing racism from his peers, the school administration did nothing. There are many more examples, and each time schools and districts fail to protect and care for their Black students. This prompted the creation of the Black Student Solidarity Network.

The mission of this organization is to connect and support Black students across Missouri and Kansas. The organization was founded in response to the rampant Racism and White Supremacy in the schools in these areas and in education. We aim to teach Black students about organizing, creating, and sustaining community and putting it into practice.
